The town of Lannemezan offers its passing visitors an important heritage combining history and architecture, in particular the Saint-Jean-Baptiste church, a Gothic building listed as a Historic Monument. Half Moon Leisure Parc :

Located 500 m from our hotel, this leisure park offers you many fun activities in a natural, wooded and green setting where canals derived from the Gers flow. The Half-Moon Leisure Park is managed and maintained by EPAS 65, ESAT du Plateau site. All revenues are intended for the maintenance and development of the Leisure Park as well as for the operation of ESAT.

Escaladieu Abbay (à 10 km) :

It is located in a wooded valley of the Baronnies. The abbey was founded around 1140. It coordinates the “European Route of Cistercian abbeys”, and is part of the digital era through multimedia supports offering a new discovery of the site and a cultural program including a component intertwining arts and technologies.

Mauvezin Castle, next to the Abbey (10 km) :

Built on a rocky outcrop, this fortress built from the 12th century, was completed at the end of the 14th by Gaston Febus. From its crenellated keep you will enjoy a remarkable view of the Pyrenees. The inner courtyard is a perfect example of medieval military architecture, in which replicas of war machines are on display. In the rooms, you will discover the way of life of the time, the museum and the exhibitions.

Edenvik, Thermoludic Institute in Capvern Les Bains (10 km) :

Rejuvenate in its whirlpool baths fed by the beneficent source of Capvern … Purify yourself in its Viking lodge or hammam with Scandinavian atmospheres. Edenvik is at the same time a Thermal SPA, a relaxation area, a fitness area and dietetic advice, but also a beauty salon.

The Prehistoric Space of Labastide (12 km) :

Come discover the life, culture and mysterious art of our ancestors and travel to the heart of the last great prehistoric culture thanks to a unique animation in a cave. Learn how to survive in the middle of prehistory, make a primitive fire, light up or even hunt with a spear before being introduced to the secrets of the art of caverns.

The Esparros Chasm (16 km) :

In the heart of the Baronnies valley, the Esparros chasm is a classified and protected site. It is one of the most exceptional national underground heritage and is remarkable for the beauty and profusion of its concretions (aragonite crystals, true “stone flower”). The abyss is a real underground garden to discover during a light and sound tour.

Gargas Caves (18 km) :

They are located in the Neste valley on the territory of the commune of Aventignan (65660). The most glaring testimony of our prehistoric ancestors is expressed by the diversity and richness of the representations left on the walls. In Gargas, you can see animal prints and paintings, geometric signs, sexual symbols and above all negative hands.

The site of the Cathedral of Saint-Bertrand de Comminges (23 km) :

A set of admirable monuments (early Christian basilica, Saint Just basilica and cathedral). It is a Roman Catholic cathedral, its construction dates back to around the year 1100. It is classified as a historic monument. It has also been listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site under the Camino de Santiago de Compostela in France since 1998.

The Pic du Midi de Bigorre (50 km) :

The most beautiful panorama of the Pyrenees chain. Discover as a group or as a family, a magical and majestic place at the top of the Pyrenees. Accessible to everyone by cable car, the Pic du Midi is one of the Great Sites of Midi-Pyrénées that you must see if you are in our beautiful region.

Lannemezan Golf Course
The Golf spreads its 18 holes over 50 hectaresgolf-lannemezan of greenery. Its long and narrow fairways bordered by trees of various species require the player to be precise o all his shots. Very nice route, with the Pic du Midi and the Pyrenees in the background.

Ski Stations

Campan Payolle Station
From 1120 to 1450 m.
Cross-country skiing: 52 km of tracks (green to black routes).

Nistos Station
From 1250 to 2500 m.
Cross-country skiing: 8 tracks of all levels (1 green, 2 blue, 4 red and 1 black) on a 45 km ski area.

Saint Lary Soulan Station
The St Lary ski area offers more than 100 km of slopes across 3 areas: Le Pla d’Adet – Espiaube and the Vallon du Portet.

Peyragudes Station
Straddling the departments of Hautes Pyrénées and Haute Garonne, Peyragudes offers a ski area on two sides: Agudes and Peyresourde. The station has 49 tracks.

Piau Engaly Station
The highest resort in the Pyrenees and having its highest point at an altitude of 2,600 m, Piau offers a very comfortable beginner’s area and 11 red, 7 black runs, a snowpark and finally 3 freeride areas accessible from the chairlifts. All on more than 104 hectares.
